Mini embossed vacuum pouch features

  • 70-micron-thick pouches made from polyamide (PA) air-impenetrable exterior and polyethylene (PE) food-approved interior.
  • Criss-cross pattern on one side of the bag allows vacuum sealer to function properly.
  • Heat-resistant pouches - suitable for sous vide cooking up to 90°C.
  • Freezer-safe - prevent freezer burn and dehydration of food in storage.
  • Dishwasher-safe, microwave-safe and reusable.
  • Food-safe product. Third-party tested, verified to be free of Bisphenol-A, lead and any phthalates.
  • Product certified to British Retail Consortium (BRC) standards.
  • Can be used with most major vacuum sealers (list below).

Why should I vacuum seal food?

Vacuum sealing is a great way of preserving food in storage. Sucking the air out of the bag before sealing starves any bacteria of oxygen, thus inhibiting its growth. This process can increase the shelf-life of food by up to five times and also prevents freezer-burn by locking moisture into the food and preventing it from moving to its surface in the form of ice crystals.

Vacuum sealing also locks flavour into food and helps to maintain its colour, texture and appearance. Ideal for sous vide cooking, vacuum sealing also reduces the amount of room you need in the freezer and can help save you time in the kitchen by preparing meals well in advance.

Why choose sous vide cooking?

Cooking food sous vide - translation: 'under vacuum' - is a great way of cooking food precisely as you want it in a temperature-controlled water bath. The sous vide method enhances the flavour of food by locking in juices and ensures that meat is tender and succulent.

Perfect for cooking delicate fish to perfection, sous vide is also suitable for shellfish, vegetables, selected fruit and eggs. What's more, the equipment takes up little space in the kitchen and allows you to prepare food in advance and store it - ideal for those times you're too busy to cook from scratch.
