Wide (48") antistatic layflat tubing features
- Make your own extra large (48" wide) antistatic polythene bags
- This layflat tubing's antistatic properties help to prevent the build-up of static electricity (tribocharging)
- When the material comes into contact with other materials, it does not generate a static charge
- Antistatic LFT can safely be introduced to an EPA (Electrostatic Protected Area)
- 75 micron thick polythene - provides good scratch-protection
- Distinctive red-tinted material (looks pink) denotes tubing as antistatic
- Shelf-life: 2+ years
Does this 48" layflat tubing protect against static shocks?
The antistatic nature of this layflat tubing helps to prevent the build-up of static on its surface (tribocharging) but it does NOT offer protection from potential electrostatic discharge (ESD) - or electric shock - introduced from another source.
If you require this level of protection - e.g. for sensitive electronic components - we recommend our range of static shielding bags instead.
