Biodegradable bags should be stored in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight. Failure to do so may reduce their 12-month shelf life.
Suitable for recycling until degradation begins. After this point, it can disposed in the bin as a last resort option, as it will biodegrade in upper regions of landfill.
Not suitable for industrial composting and does not meet the rapid biodegradation timescals for EN13432 (90% in six months). May be suitable for home composting, depending on the disposal environment, but this process could take several years.
For packing bags that do meet compostable packaging standard EN13432, see our range of compostable packing bags.
