Large compostable safety bag - product features

Large safety bag - the EN13432 compostable standard
In line with industrial compostable packaging standard EN13432, the material used to make this bag meets the following criteria:
- Disintegration - a minimum of 90% of material must pass through a 2mm x 2mm sieve after 12 weeks.
- Biodegradability - the material must biodegrade (into CO2, water and biomass), with the amount of CO2 released reaching 90% of control sample levels after six months.
- Compost quality - material must pass strict ecotoxicity tests (e.g. for safe levels of heavy metals, such as zinc, copper or lead) and it must not negatively affect the quality of compost produced (pH, salinity etc.).
How to storage large compostable safety bags
To maintain product quality, please store these compostable bags in a cool, dry place in their original packaging. Please avoid direct sources of heat, humidity, sunlight or moisture and use within 12 months.
Disposal instructions - compostable safety bags
These bags are designed for composting after use, so please place them in your food waste bin (for industrial composting) or a domestic composting unit.
If neither composting option is available, please place in your regular domestic waste, as these bags are NOT suitable for recycling.
