Additional information on degradation

Biodegradable (oxo-degradable) grip seal bag using oil-based polymers with an additive that acts as a catalyst to accelerate the degradation process. Designed to manage the lifetime of polythene products so that, once their useful shelf life has passed, these grip seal bags will first degrade and then biodegrade into environmentally-benign products in 2-5 years, rather than decades or centuries.

Technical Additive Information

Polymer Degradation Additive : Product name: SP7128 0001. Tested as per ASTM D5208 & ASTM D6954. Complies with European directive 2002/72/EEC for overall migration & council of Europe committee of ministers, Resolution AP(89) for colour migration. Heavy Metal free and compliant with RoHS regulation.

Important Product Storage Information

To maintain the high quality of these grip seal bags during storage it is recommended that they should be stored in their original wrapping away from any local heating source and direct sunlight and used within 12 months from the date of delivery. Store between temperature: 17-23°C and relative Humidity: 35-55%.
