Products carrying this logo have been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) - the world’s most trusted mark for sustainable forestry.

When you purchase products with the FSC label, you're helping forests - and the people that rely on them - to thrive by supporting zero deforestation, fair wages and a proper work environment.

Trees from FSC-certified forests are harvested responsibly, so that there is no net loss of forest over time, whilst forests with irreplaceable values - such as old-growth forests - are identified and maintained.

Forest Stewardship Council labels

The FSC has three labels, which you may find on this website or directly on FSC-certified products. Behind each FSC label is a product that supports responsible forestry.

FSC 100% - All materials in products carrying the FSC 100% label come from responsibly managed, FSC-certified forests.

These products contribute most directly to the FSC's mission to ensure thriving forests for all, forever.

FSC Recycled - These products are made from 100-percent recycled materials, which makes the most of precious forest resources and reduces the pressure to harvest more trees.

At Polybags, we also label products made from recycled materials, so that customers can make an informed decision when purchasing from our website.

FSC Mix - These products are made with a mixture of materials from FSC-certified forests, recycled materials, and/or FSC-controlled wood.

FSC-controlled wood is not from FSC-certified forests but it mitigates the risk of the material originating from unacceptable sources.
