pink antistatic layflat tubing
A great range of special antistatic layflat polythene tubing, designed to prevent the problem build-up of static electricity (tribocharging). This polythene's surface has electrically-dissipative properties so it does not generate a static charge when rubbed against other materials, meaning it can be safely introduced to an Electrostatic Protected Area (EPA). At 75-microns thick, the layflat tubing provides good scratch-protection for the contents, whilst the distinctive polythene's red-tinted colouring - which looks pink - signals to others that the polythene is antistatic. Please note: antistatic polythene does not protect against electrostatic discharge (ESD). If you need to protect static-sensitive electronic components, please see our range of static shielding bags.
