Small clear biodegradable bag (30% recycled) - features

Biodegradable bag made from a minimum of 30% recycled material.
Can be used, re-used and recycled just like a regular polythene bag.
Bio-additive accelerates the polythene degradation process.
In the unwanted event of littering, will biodegrade in 1-2 years in the open environment.
Bio-additive transforms polymer into a non-toxic wax-like substance.
Bacteria and fungi break this substance down into carbon dioxide, water and biomass.
Material leaves no microplastics behind and passes ecotoxicity tests.
Conforms to PAS 9017:2020 (BSI standard on biodegradability of polyolefins).
Biodegradability info printed on bag (see below).
Made with a minimum recycled content level of 30% (exempt from Plastic Packaging Tax).

We recommended that these bags are stored in their original packaging between 17-23°C and away from direct sunlight

Failure to store correctly can reduce the product's 12-month shelf life.

How to dispose of biotransformation bags

To dispose of these Bio-T bags after use (and reuse), we advise that you recycle them. If your local council does not collect soft plastics for recycling, we recommend that you take them to your local bag collection point along with your traditional carrier bags.

These bags are designed to biodegrade if they escape waste streams and end up in the natural environment, but they will *not* biodegrade if disposed of with your food waste, or in a home compost environment.
